???? Dispensing system using a piston material transfer system.

???? We would like to show you, our modular dispensing head using a piston system for material transfer. Such a system is an alternative to the classic design in which gear pumps, for example, are used. The heart of such a solution is the piston working inside the cylinder. In line with current trends, we have used numerically controlled cylinders, which carry out the displacement according to the adopted parameters – proportion, speed and dose of processed material. Each working cycle consists of two phases: intake and discharge of the material. In the first phase, the material to be dosed is pressed into the metering cylinder through the appropriate switching of flow control valves, in order to perform the actual pressing in the second phase after the appropriate switching of the above-mentioned valves. The material is then transferred to the head where the individual components are mixed.

???? Such a solution is used, for example, with materials containing particles/components that cannot be pumped with gear pumps, e.g. due to physico-chemical requirements.
