Selective soldering versus performance.
❓”Isn’t the human factor behind the lack of productivity?”
Repeatability, accuracy and productivity are the basic assumptions of all production engineers. Sometimes the complexity of a process is so great that we cannot meet all of these assumptions. This is when the time comes for change and the need to answer the question “Isn’t the human factor behind the lack of productivity?”. If, after a longer analysis, we come to the simple conclusion that ‘yes’, we need to check the support options available on the market. A great example demonstrating the problem and its solution is the use of a robotic nest performing the selective soldering process (instead of traditional manual soldering).
????Selective soldering eliminates the main disadvantages of manual soldering such as:
???? lack of repeatability of the process,
???? errors due to fatigue,
???? low productivity.
By using such tools, we are able to clearly increase production efficiency.
We present to you our brazing head together with a PLC, which we are able to fully automate using our robot.
