➡️ Hermetization of “small” electronics.
➡️ Hermetization of “small” electronics.
♦️ It is often the case that even “small”, low-cost electronics require protection from external influences such as dust, moisture or vibration. Without proper protection, such devices are more likely to fail or break down more quickly, leading to the need for replacement. The solution may lie in the use of hermetization, a process that provides greater sealing and isolation from the environment.
🏁 One popular material for such a process is silicone, which is characterized by its flexibility, durability and ability to work in a wide temperature range. 2-component resins are also very effective. They are characterized by greater hardness and are therefore more resistant to abrasion.
📈 In dispensing silicone and resin, it is crucial to maintain the proper distance between the applicator tip and the surface to which the material is applied. The use of dedicated dispensing systems in the silicone and resin application process allows for precise setting and control of the amount of protective material to be applied to the electronics surface. This helps ensure reproducible hermetization quality, which in turn improves the quality and lifespan of electronic devices.
